Wonderful food in any location.

Hello!

Redefining the way we grow, cook and consume in a positive, creative and sustainable way.

 

Combining 3 rosette French Cuisine with Belgian creativity and lots of global travels, we create bespoke menus for every setting, occasion and lifestyle diet.


​We cook for small private chef events, family gatherings, hen & stag do's, weddings, corporate events and society contracts.

 

As much as possible, we use seasonal, locally grown produce as well as local, responsibly sourced fish and meat. We strongly believe in smaller, regenerative eco-agriculture, less food waste and a more sustainable way of cooking.

Envie comes from "être en vie" / "avoir envie de"; "to fancy" / "to be alive", respectively. This is what we cook for: to want to feel alive, to experience, to travel through taste.

Let us do the cooking while you host.

​Overwhelmed? Love hosting but not cooking? Would like to enjoy your party yourself too?

From fine dining to good old comfort food, from pretty and adventurous canapes to multicultural street food, from a romantic dinner for two and family gatherings to formal occasions, we can take the cooking out of your hands so you can enjoy your event to the fullest. Based on your preferences and requirements, we develop a bespoke menu for your event, served using high quality produce, in style and with a smile.

We strongly believe that within cooking there is an incredible opportunity to impact the creation of sustainable food systems for years to come. Safe, nutritious food from a fertile soil, accessible to everyone, regardless of economic status. Further, we commit to reducing our carbon footprint as much as possible.

 

Therefore, we made the commitment to work with sustainable growers and producers in our local area.

 

 

We are proud to use their produce when it is seasonably available and craft our dishes accordingly. ​​

Our regular suppliers include Fordmore Farm for organic meat (1mile), Fishes Exeter for sustainably caught fish and shellfish (15miles), Bishop Organics (under a mile) and Shillingford (15miles) for organic veg and Forest Produce for high quality, sustainable produce (5miles).

We bake ancient grain sourdough and develop bespoke cakes for all diets and events, creating them to fit the character of the person your cake is intended for. 

We deliver afternoon teas (with or without fizz) as well as complete tarts, entremets and cake banquets for receptions.

Raph and Lizzie catered my surprise birthday party. The menu was designed with my husband’s input and captured my favourite food perfectly. The food itself was sublime. Out of this world. Phenomenal! It might seem like I am trying to use every adjective under the sun to describe the food but really nothing comes close to conveying how beautiful it all was. From the presentation to the taste, Raph and Lizzie are masters of their art. The dishes were up there, if not beyond, food we have tasted in Michelin star restaurants. It was perfect. The wine pairings were also spot on. 

Raph and Lizzie take beautiful fresh ingredients and turn them into the most special dishes you have tasted. To top it off they are the loveliest people as well! I would not hesitate to recommend their private catering and cannot wait until we are able to experience it again!

Just booked 2 consecutive evenings for our holiday place in Topsham. A warm welcome  back from Raphael and Lizzie. They created a lovely relaxed ambience, only surpassed by the extraordinary quality of the food. We sampled the scallops, duck and salmon - impossible to say which was our favourite. Mouth watering. Also had snails and a Caribbean-style dessert, which were also delicious. Wine choice and quality excellent, with True Normand Calvados to finish. Already booked them TWICE in September, when we come back.

Having travelled through France extensively, and in Brittany in particular, you wont find better cuisine than theirs. Stunning. We wish Raphael & Lizzie continued success. Their skill and hard work deserves every plaudit. Merci beaucoup, à bientôt!
